PDG Jessie Harmon (On right) spoke of her pride in the Maryborough Club at this induction ceremony.  Her inspirational pitch at the recent “Night of 1000 Women” certainly helped make those commitments. Her warm and whole-hearted welcome, reflected her personal interest in membership. “New members will bring new ideas, new projects and new momentum to the Club” she predicted. “But the real beneficiaries will be the people we serve.”  Thanks, Jessie.

President Bob Osborne  (the big guy in the middle) anticipated a change of culture of the Club. Clearly we will need to embrace the fact that we are now ALL Rotarians; distinctions of race, colour, age and gender evaporate.
