Visit to Avoca Water Plant...last week's meeting.

About seventeen Rotarians travelled to Avoca for last week's visit to the Water Treatment Plant.  They were delighted to welcome back PP Bob Osborne after his fall and subsequent  spell in Hospital.  As resilient as ever Bob chaired the meeting in the absence of Pres. Terry.  Two groups were formed to look around the plant including the $4million  salt filtration plant   While it looked like a shipping container it was in fact a state of the art  salt filtration plant  which now enables Avoca to have a top class water supply , the plant comes into operation whenever the salt content reaches a pre-defined level and ensures good quality water.

After the visit  they all adjourned to the Avoca Hotel and enjoyed a good meal and a pleasant  evening.
