Members received an unexpected visit from DG Kathy and David on June 8th, who wanted to pay a compliment to Maryborough members for their efforts in dressing up for the Travel Themed Dinner Dance at the District 9780 Conference back in March. As arranged by our Fun Coordinator, Trace, we dressed up using the theme of "Around the World in 80 Days", and DG Kathy thought we deserved a bottle of sparkly each for our efforts even though we didn't win a prize on the night. Being a true Rotarian, Kathy thought that wasn't "fair to all concerned". Many thanks, Kathy!
