There is an interesting article on attendance rules titled “Meeting Attendance - The Tail That Wags the Rotary Dog”?!! Telling words in the article include: “the fence that keeps people in” and "Why is Rotary so obsessed with meeting attendance?” And how about, “I think Rotarians should attend meetings because they are attracted there – not because we beat them over the head with the rule book!” Meaty stuff!
