Hi Rotarians, another week down and still a lot on our plate.

Last week’s breakfast meeting was well attended and Tracey Smith gave an interesting job talk on her life and employment at MEC.

Thank you to those who helped with the marquee on Saturday and Sunday. I’m told however that we were a bit light on numbers. We must ensure that this does not happen again. OH&S comes into play with reduced numbers of helpers.

Committees met recently and came up with some good ideas  for projects and fundraising. Are we acting on any yet? Please make the effort as at this stage of the Rotary year, it is easy to lose impetus if we are not careful.

RYPEN -  Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment: we are again running the camp at Adekate near Creswick on April 6,7 and 8, for youngsters aged 15-17 years. Shane Dellavedova is approaching the schools, but do YOU know anyone who may benefit?

RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards: This is for young people 18-25 and is held at Kangaroobie (Port Campbell) . We have had many young people attend this life-changing program. The details are on the net, however if you have an employee, offspring, relative or friend who would benefit from this, please let Shane and his committee know. http://www.ryla9780.com/index.html

Enjoy your Rotary,

Pres. Bob
