Ystad is on the south coast of Sweden , close to Norway. Brian and Alison's association with Ystad was through a Group Study Exchange teams visit to Maryborough (about 2003 or 2004), the Club hosted the team which was led by Pier-Evert Nielsen. Alison and Brian visited Pier-Evert and his wife in Ystad in 2007, and attended their Rotary meeting.
