It was a pleasure for Geoff and I to call at the Bluelight Camp in Maldon today and meet the indigenous young people who had enjoyed their weekend, and benefited from the experience Maryborough Rotary supports. Special thanks to Graeme and Martin, who continue to give their time and energy to this project.
Thanks also to Trace, Leigh, Rob, Murray and Derrick, who helped Kate in the smooth running of the Auction last Friday night at the Ploughman's and Pav Fundraising event at the Highland Society. Great effort at extracting funds  Kate! Thanks also to all members who attended or sold raffle tickets. It was a hugely successful and enjoyable evening, and a pleasure to work with other community organisations. Can't wait to hear the final amount raised for our farmers!
More details of our involvement in the Spring Fling on Sunday 28th October will be available this week, so be sure to attend your Committee meetings and hear how you can help. I will also need names of members who plan to attend the Group 7 meeting at Beaufort on Monday 29th.
Be sure to collect and check the Reminder notice for November too. Another busy month!
Karen will be selling tickets for the Polio fundraiser film, Bohemian Rhapsody, which is on November 1st. Bring along your family and friends to this world premiere.
Keep inspiring each other!
