2012 Oaks Day Fundraising for the MEC Chaplaincy Program was very successful this year from a combination of activities including the Major Raffle, Luncheon, Ag Art Fashions, Competitions, Vintage Jewellery Sales and Auction. Over $5050 was raised from these fun filled activities including many individual generous donations.
The Luncheon attracted 93 guests and the highlights were the great table service from the MEC Hospitality Students and the Parade of stunning Ag Art Designer Fashion Hats by MEC Students and presented by Lorraine Trewick of the Elmore Field Days.
A Team of Rotarians ran the competitions and Rotarian Kate Ashton kept the day moving  as the entertaining and a whimsical MC.
