There were no Sargeants fines last week due to the committee meetings. But I would say look out this week, bring plenty of change.
The Stephen Bradbury award this week went to Mallee Rowe, just for a change.
Garry Higgins won the raffle, no report on the card.
New Attendance Rules.
Under the new rules "Make-Ups" could now be banked and would be allocated to any missed meeting. The rule that "make Ups" only count 2 weeks either side of an absence no longer applies within our club. This new option has been approved by Rotary International and Clubs have the option to use wither at the discretion of their board. If members wish to bank a make-up you must advise Anthony of the date and reason for the make-up, preferably in writing or by email. Chairman of Committees can submit a list of members who attend a function or working bee.
Members attended the Workplace Training for Family Violence at the Hub on the 13th of July, supporting Garry were the following members Thea Allan, Brian Thomas, Chris Frahn and Anthony Ohlsen. We look forward to a report on the success of the day.
President Thea would like members who would otherwise be stuck at home to bring their children/grandchilren to the meeting. Children can either eat what the menu has in store or nuggets and chips can be ordered, just please remember to let Bryce know this will be happening.
Ballarat Swap Meet:
please talk to your family members about this one, we are looking to get as many volunteers to work under the umbrella of Maryborough Rotary, the more hours we get the more $$$$$ we earn. If we can get a clear indication of availabilty and numbers/hours we can let Judy Dennis from the SwapMeet Committee know earlier.
