Committees were in full swing on Thursday night, not bad to have eight committees meet on the one night. There is plenty happening and the reports were short and sweet.
The Monthly Reminder Notice put out each month by Pres. Merl is a great reminder of what is coming up, we trust you have room for it on your fridge door!, in particular there are calls for help for the Mock Interviews at MEC on Oct 8th, Drought relief Dinner on Saturday Oct 19th and the Spring Fling on Sunday Oct 28th.
We heard that Fay Townsing is out of hospital and backin Broken Hill where she and Charles will be living in future….great!
PP Garry wore his Carlton Footy Club jumper on Thursday night, we are not sure if he was looking to sell it as an heirloom or for a crowd funder to replace it….but it did look pretty good as did Peter H in his old jumper. By the way Garry called the winner the moment our young guest won the raffle , he was absolutely sure he would take away the prize ….as have a number of visitors before him.
We have another film night coming up on November 1st so reserve the night!
We have five offers to host an incoming Rotary Friendship exchange so our name has been put forward as a possible host Club.

Also the Maryborough District Hospital has excess equipment coming up for disposal and Donations in Kind is being considered.
