Wow! What an excellent evening to celebrate Bob’s great year as President; great publicity, 11 new members and lots of fun along with Bob reminding us all that he “did it my way”.

Bob also gave us a beautiful rendition of It’s a Wonderful World.

There were visitors from Ararat, Ballarat, Beaufort and Stawell Rotary, along with our own partners/spouses, Garr’s family and special friends, other community groups and community members.

Also we gave incoming President Garry a warm welcome and support for his year at the helm.

There are several major projects to be brought forward and the Big Travel Raffle was launched to raise much needed funds to continue our projects locally and internationally.

The new raffle has excellent prizes; $8000 for International travel; $3000 for National travel; $1000 for Victorian travel and $300 for Maryborough food and accommodation.

For a 1:1500 chance, with a $20 investment, there will soon be 4 very happy winners in August. Take your 2 raffle books with a happy heart and sell, sell, sell!

Raffle prize winners on Saturday were Mallee Rowe with the Black Cavier framed montage, Murray Henderson, Garry Higgins, Jeff Mackay, Marj Caulfield, John Bryant and Jay Fuller all won a bottle of wine, Pauline Ball took home some flowers and Rob Bursill can save his small coins in his piggy bank for his grandchildren!
