• What a sensational way to celebrate and recognise 30 years of Women in Rotary on Thursday night.  Dinner at Peppa's restaurant, thank you very much to Bob and Caroline for managing this with such short notice.  A brief history and presentation by Rotarian Tracey Smith (through a placemat) with the story of how women battled to join Rotary and then recognizing the women who have held positions within Rotary during the 30 years. Thank you to PDG,PHF Geoff James for the history lesson and providing the story. A huge thank you and congratulations to Maryborough Rotary for the journey we have been on together and the acceptance and team efforts we do firstly as Rotarians, not necessarily because we are male and female members. District Governor Rosanne Kava then provided all Rotarians with information about what is happening within our District 9780 and a presentation also on 30 years of Women in Rotary and finally presented two Paul Harris Fellows. Congratulations to Triple PHF, PP Thea Allan for service and work in Rotary and PHF recipient Esther Waters also for her service and work in Rotary.
