Our August meetings kicked off on the 6th with local historian John Tully examining the evidence that bushranger Ned kelly was secretly married, along with some related history of the Kelly Gang, followed on the 13th with our monthly board meeting.
On the 20th, we heard some reflections from Rtn David Tynan on 50 years in medicine following David’s retirement as a local GP. Rounding out the month, on the 27th we visited the Maryborough CFA Brigade where we heard a history of the brigade from Captain Daryl Wagstaff and inspected the equipment.
