The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a Rotary inspired training and education program conducted by independent groups of Rotarian leaders in many Rotary Districts around the world. Our District 9780 has had an active RLI team for many years, and this year, starting this month, they are offering the first of a series of 3 sets of sessions (Levels 1 & 2 online, & Level 3 face to face) to district Rotarians - especially new Rotarians and those about to take on positions of leadership. See "Read more ..." for our club's special opportunity, dates, times and locations.
The registrations closed on August 2nd. but because our club has so many new members, we have been given a special opportunity to enrol members in the few places that are remaining. The total course cost is $35 per person, but our club will cover half of those fees if proposed participants enrol through the club.

RLI Level 1 will be online on Friday August 19 (short orientation session at night), Saturday August 20th (9am to 1pm) and Sunday August 21st (9am to 1pm)
RLI Level 2 will be online on Saturday September 10th (9am to 1pm) and Sunday September 11th (9am to 1pm)
RLI Level 3 will be face to face on Sunday November 13th (9.30am until around 3.30pm) at a venue to be determined - closest to those who enrol.

The course will introduce participants to a comprehensive range of Rotary topics and issues, and it involves active participatory discussion, group work and  presentations by participants to improve each participant's leadership skills and enable them to take on positions of leadership in their own clubs.

To complete RLI Levels 2 and 3, you must complete RLI level 1. If you cannot complete a particular level this year, you will be able to attend in later years to complete all three levels and officially graduate - yes, you receive a certificate and RLI badge upon graduation!
