Rotary Information 3 minute talk by PP Tom Davies.

Tom explained the committment we have had to the National Youth Summer Science program for many years and the fact  that the  program has always been of immense value to the participants . The program has eleven partners and there is much interaction with Rotary while the students are in Canberra for 12 days. Students are proposed by Clubs in the District, selected by the District Committee and the fees are often shared between parents and clubs.The main objective is to ensure that every NYSF student is exposed to the widest possible range of study and career opportunities in science, so that they can make an informed career choice.  Members also spoke in praise of the students we have selected and their appreciation of the program often claimimg the experience to have been  life chjanmging.
