You may be aware that about 40 Rotarians and partners from the RC of Melbourne will be travelling through our area next March on the way to a D9800 Conference in Bendigo.

It is the practice of Rotarians in District 9800 for a cavalcade of Melbourne Rotarians to visit places en route to their District Conference for some good fellowship, exploration and to meet local Rotarians.

The RC of Maryborough will be joining The Rotary Club of Melbourne for lunch on Thursday 10th March for what we believe will be a spit roast at Lochinver and the home of Rotarian Alison Teese and John Williamson.

It is anticipated that a Long Table will be set up with a buffet style meal, time for meet and greet plus a walk to significant spots around Deep Creek; with ample opportunity for folk to mingle and enjoy country hospitality. It is also possible that Alison may also need volunteer help from local Rotarians to help with catering. It is the practice of RC Melbourne to finance the meal and beverages for Melbourne Rotarians plus any helpers, with a nominal contribution from any other Rotarians and their guests.

This event will be instead of our regular meeting on that date, reminders will be sent out and put in the bulletin.
