Yes, it is on again and we need your help to make the day a success. Below is a list of jobs which require volunteers.
There are some areas that are already accounted for but there are still plenty of spaces. The question mark indicates a vacant spot and whilst there may be 1, 2 or 3 question marks, over subscription is fine. It is a good day to be with fellow members/partners to socialise and get to know one another.
This may be our final Pyrenees Magic Tri-Distance Bike Ride as numbers have been decreasing over the post COVID years. Current registrations aren’t strong but there is typically a rush in the last few days.
What’s next? Rotarian Max Berry has put together a scoping document, looking at a new type of bike ride. This bike ride and more detail will be provided over coming weeks and months but the concept whilst not new, is something different for us. It involves not just road bike riding but off-road bike riding and we hope for much of the “track” to be around the state forests of Central Goldfields Shire. The intent is to base the event at the Maryborough Harness Racing Centre and for the event to be very family-orientated and over more than one day. Stay tuned as we further develop the concept.
