Notes from June Board Meeting
- No bulletin Editor has come forward (Terry has relinquished the position and this is his last bulletin.)
- Alison and Esther met with Havilah volunteers after Pres Bob received a request from Havilah volunteers, requesting that Rotary look at options of catering, due to their low numbers of volunteers. After reading Alison’s and Esther’s comprehensive report a spirited discussion resulted in a motion to the Board, to have three months trial meeting at Havilah on Palmerston. This was moved by T Bainbridge and seconded by M Mackay and carried by a majority. The Board ratified this motion and Rotary will meet at Havilah on Palmerston commencing Thursday 27th June 2013.
- District Conference 2015 Committee meeting #2 on Sunday 16th at Geoff James’ 25 Pekin Rd. To look at theme and speakers.
- District changeover at Mundulla S.A. on Sunday June 30.
- District Conference 2014 – Need a good team to go to support DGN Geoff and sell our 2015 conference at the end of that conference
- Sydney Convention. This is the best opportunity we have of attending a Rotary International Convention. Please make an effort to attend June 1 – 4 2014. Ibis Budget, Sydney, Olympic Park. 8b Edwin Flack Ave, Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush Bay. Cheaper to book by internet,
