New Club Web Site Coming Soon

At 5,45am this morining, (I know that's no big deal for the farmers among us, but it's the middle of the night for me!) I attended a Webinar from Canada introducing the new Clubrunner website program which will enable clubs to have much more flexibility in the way they set out their web site, and eventually the bulletin.
One useful customization will be that we'll be able to have a photo of Maryborough as a banner across the top of our site. We'll also be able to have photos of different sizes and include different sections and headings on the site to suit our own purposes. The new site will be based on a number of modules or widgets and clubs can simply choose which widgets they want to include in their site and then rearrange them the way they want. A large number of widgets will be released progressively over coming months and they can be added to our site at any time. The plan is to enable clubs to switch over to Version 2 with all our exisiting information after June 21st. We won't lose any of our existing info and we can switch back and forth between the old and new versions for quite some time.
