As usual, Maryborough Rotary held a fantastic Changeover Dinner last night, and I thank Thea and everyone involved with the organisation, as well as members, past members, family and friends who attended.
It was a pleasure to be part of the ceremony to present seven of our members and one Friend of Rotary with a Paul Harris Fellow Recognition, some sapphire or double sapphire, Congratulations again to those very worthy recipients.
It was also a pleasure to congratulate and thank our own District Governor, Anthony ( and Kerrie), for representing our club and District 9780 so well during his year of office. and also to give a certificate of Appreciation to PP PHF Rod Brown for his many years of "Service Above Self".
As I said in my report last night, my job was made easy by having a wonderful, hard working and supportive Board  during this last year, and I thank all members in general for the encouragement and support I have received.
The list of our achievements is inspiring. Those present last night were amazed and inspired by what good in the world can be done by one small club.
I believe we have lived up to the challenge of Rotary International President Barry Rassin to "Be Te Inspiration" this year, and I wish President Leigh and his Board a successful year ahead as "Rotary Connects The World".
Finally, can I thank PP PHF Brian Thomas for his hard work getting this Bulletin to us all every week, which takes great diligence and dedication. Thank you also to my personal inspiration, Geoff, who was always there with his love and encouragement.
Be Proud to be a Rotarian!
