We celebrated Rotary's 114th Birthday with a thought provoking Peace Forum last week. Thank you to Geoff for preparing the night and leading us in thinking about what peace means to us in all aspects of life. Thank you also to Garry for organising the delicious cake.
The Ballarat Swap Meet is done and dusted, and we must thank Thea for all her hard work organising the BBQ roster, and the members, partners and friends who served, manned the till, displayed their expert cooking skills or carried out other useful jobs. As usual, these are times of great fellowship and there are always funny stories to be told and remembered.
It is now only 4 weeks to our District Conference and the Conference Booklet is about to go to the printers, sponsors are finalised and being thanked and final details are being checked. Make sure that you register soon! Also, be prepared to volunteer for the help required at our meeting this week. Again, a huge thank you to the Committee who have worked and are still working so hard to make it a success.
