As I write, the tiring, but very successful Energy Breakthrough weekend is behind us. A huge thank you to Thea for her hard work organising the roster and making sure everything ran smoothly, not an easy task. Thank you also to those members who worked hard manning (womaning?) the Barbeque and marshalling, especially those who worked extra shifts (did Trace really do 10 hours straight?) and those who cleaned up. (I would recommend Chris to anyone  as a cleaner of greasy pans under difficult conditions!)We also appreciated the help of family and friends. The family of Rotary working together is inspiring.
Congratulations  to our SayNO2family violence team  who accepted our National Volunteer Award for this project from Minister Dan Tehan on Thursday.  We are proud of the passionate work of this inspiring group.
I hope you all saw the great page spread in the Advertiser on Friday for Foundation Month. We have to be inspired by the amazing work done by our own Rotary Foundation. Our thanks to Chris and Sue for designing the page and helping us promote Rotary to the public with our monthly pages.
Only 2 more formal meetings for the year, so be sure to collect your book (or 2) of Raffle tickets to sell over the holidays and  bring donations of Christmas goodies for the Salvation Army tub.
Also, be sure to check the December Reminder notice. December 6th is a special Partners night, as is our Christmas party on December 15th. Please book and pay at one of the next two meetings, and get a table of friends together for our New Year's Eve Dance.
Fun times ahead to celebrate being the inspiration!
