It was great to see our Service and Governance Committees working and planning last week. Thank you to all members for their valued input.
A special thank you to Peter Haywood for his amazing organisation of the Pyrenees Magic Bike Ride on Friday, which was a huge success. From all reports, both riders and volunteers had an enjoyable day.
Thank you again to Graeme Rogan for his support of our Defying the Drift participants. We look forward to hearing from them at our meeting on October 18th.
Our Conference Chair, John Caulfield, reminded us last week of the tight timeline as the District Conference is now only 6 months away. A lot of hard work and organisation has already been done, but we will all be called on in the near future to support the committee and play our part where needed.
Can I remind those members with Raffle books for the Drought relief Dinner on October 19th to return them to me as soon as possible and please remember to buy your tickets for the night at the Highland Society or Bendigo Bank. It will be a great night of entertainment and Rotary is running the Auction. There is certainly plenty happening to keep us "inspired"!
