Our first Service and Governance Committees for the 2018/19 year were, on the whole, well attended last Thursday, and I certainly observed plenty of discussion and planning for the year ahead. Thank you for all your hard work, and can I remind Directors to send their minutes to Derrick as soon as they can, in time for him to prepare the Agenda for the Board meeting. A reminder too, to check dates for future activities with the Program Committee or myself, before entering them on the calendar.The first month has really flown by, and I must thank Shane for his great job as Meeting Chair during July, as well as being MC at the Changeover.
We look forward to having Kate Ashton as Meeting Chair in August, Membership Month, when we will be welcoming back past members, listening to great speakers and socialising at our Movie night. Be sure to collect a Reminder Notice if you haven't got one yet. Partners are invited and welcome to attend any meeting of interest.
