The April 13th club meeting celebrated the upcoming birthday of Herbert J Taylor (April 18th 1893), the creator of the four way test. After listening to some ideas about the value of truth from renowned Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Jordan Peterson, members shared their responses and own ideas on the topic in small groups. See "Read more..." for more pictures and a synopsis of the video.

The video used to stimulate discussion at our meeting contained a number of short snippets from the thousands of Jordan Peterson videos available on YouTube. In short, Peterson claims that human beings instinctively value truth and honesty, we must tell the truth despite the consequences because the long term out-come is always best with the truth, because all human beings are connected to millions of others through networks, our truth (or lies) may affect millions, besides, lying destroys our inner guidance systems, you don't have to remember what you've said or continue to tell lies to cover up previous dishonesty.
