Club members were engaged and inspired on Thursday February 26th when Major Vanessa Evans from the Salvation Army shared her story about working against Gender Based Violence in the Solomon Islands over recent years. Vanessa and her husband both worked with Salvation Army in the Solomons for around eight years and were key figures in initiating a Gender Based Violence information program that touched the lives of hundreds of islanders.
