Last Week President Garry welcomed back Rotarian Wayne Sheean and PP John Stewart and the Club, especially Rotarian Kate Ashton, welcomed Louise Han de Wynn
Changeovers and AGM's:
The Club was represented at various club and District meetings at Stawell, Ararat, District 9780 at Bordertown, St Arnaud, Kerang, Devonport North, District 9830 Tasmania, changeover and Launceston West and fellow service organisations – Lions changeover and Fire Brigade AGM.
Family Violence Awareness:
Last week, Meryl, Matt and Thea met with Sharon Fraser, Go Goldfields. Sharon had some good ideas and we will put ideas to the Club when we know more.
* White Ribbon Ambassadors resonated strongly with us and welplan to have a speaker about this program.
* Jigsaw - schools program is to be investigated.
* Family by Family - a South Australian program which has a well-working family mentoring a not-so-well-working family.
Brian Dowie Conservation Park:
PP Brian Thomas reported progress on Brian Dowie Park management seeking guidance on maintenance, plantings and volunteers from the wider community. A working bee is planned for October 10.
Dinners:
We booked for 34 meals last week, but with five Rotarians not submitting an apology, we will need to pay for a number of meals not eaten.
Welfare:
PP John Caulfield reported Rob Bursill’s progress after surgery and Sally Bryant’s mother’s struggle

Beaufort on Monday July 8. 10 Rotarians attending
July Board Meeting:
Thursday 11th, after usual meeting at Havilah on Palmerston
