Local groups Go Goldfields, Committee for Maryborough and Rotary Maryborough have joined forces to create a new community festival for the Central Goldfields, the Goldfields Community Festival – Connect & Celebrate to take place on Saturday 19th March, from 10am to 3pm in the beautiful Phillips Gardens, Maryborough.The festival will offer free rides, games, kids activities, a stage with a family-friendly entertainment program of foot-tapping music and interactive dance classes, plus picnic areas, a First Nations People’s tent, Freeza Youth area, roaming performers, community, special interest and service information stalls, parenting facilities, pop-up playgroups and more.
