Brian Dowie Conservation Park

Brian Thomas reported on the success of the working bee cum engagement with the local community at the park last week.

The Board decided to continue involvement with the Shire Section 86 committee and to propose expanding the membership to include members of other groups. The consensus is that we should feel comfortable with our achievements at the site. We have maintained it and the heritage, culture and environment it represents, which was always our aim. External funds may be available to further development, even though the Shire has not come to the party.
