The  Rock and Roll dance is coming up  rapidly (Saturday September  22nd at the Maryborough Town Hall) and Jackie Dellavedova is seeking donations for the raffle which is a big part of the fund raiser. If you can help, please call her on 5461 4264.  As indicated on the flyer,  pre-paid tickets would be great. However, Rotary does not have a table booked  and obviously we should be well represented at our event  and give Jaclie  our support...so how about it  ??

If you were a Girl Guide or a Boy scout, you will remember how important your motto, “Be Prepared” was to you…..I  found that the Rotary motto  “ Service above Self”  was  a succinct definition of what Rotary means…it is worth promoting!
John Caulfield reported that Ted Edwards has not been well - he has had a couple of falls. If you get a chance to visit him, that would be great!  We hope you are well soon, Ted.
The  Friendship Exchange  opportunity is still open, Alison Teese would be pleased to hear from you if you are interested in hosting members of the team from Canada in March next year.  While effort is needed to host and entertain a group, it is  a really worthwhile effort to get to know Rotarians from another country.
Robert Rowe is to be commended for his efforts with the Footy Frenzy, good fun but a great fundraiser too. Thanks,  Mallee.
