Please note that our Xmas Break-up will be at Peppa’s Restaurant on December 15th, please put it in your diary
Ploughman’s and Pav night was an outstanding community event, the attendance was much higher than expected , the donations for auctioning and raffle was also really outstanding, Maryborough got right behind the event and Highland Society made a great effort ,the talk on the trucking of hay was very informative and Kate and her helpers did a great job of raising funds with the Auction of 38 donated items.
I think that we will see Garry head off to the USA after Leigh’s enthusiastic Friday night discussion on football ( including Aussie Rules) as it is played over there. Sounds great fun.
Meryl will have a tub at the door of our next meeting , this will enable the ladies to dispose of the surplus items they bought at the Auction on Friday night…seriously it will be there for us to drop off toiletries for the Salvoes to supply to those in need of a bit of help….so don’t forget!!
The Maryborough District Hospital received an award for supporting the No Family Violence program….also interesting that Govt .is funding a Cat Scan Machine for them!
Peter Haywood has graced TV this week,,did you see him? You could be on Tv on Sunday November 4th at 1.00pm at the Race track for the Say No To Family Violence Race day….another for your diary.
