Last meeting was committes ,everyone arrived enthusiastic and settled into work!
Murray was away on special duty...his Grand-daughter's birthday....how about that!
On Friday night we had a meeting on 2019 Conference......good turn-up at Havilah and great progress!
Just as well the year is disappearing quickly...it is shaping up to be a really good conference....22 to 24th March .. keep the dates clear.
Prior to the Conference meeting Thea ,Terry , Trace and I had dinner at the Bull and Mouth .....most enjoyable ....and we learned lots from Tracey about her career and the effects of the Gonski Report on MEC.....she is now a candidate to speak to the Club on her vocation !!
We mention Rotary Fellowships quite often but did you know there are fellowships for those interested in Beer or Yoga or Whiskey??? Google Rotary Fellowships.....or just come along and ask about RVFR or Cricket Fellowships! But seriously Rotarians can share interests with likeminded people all round the world. Rod will probably join the skiing Fellowship when he gets back from his skiing trip.
Glancing at the RCM 2002-2012 History, I saw a photo of President Anthony in his year of 2002/3 presenting Jessica Hurse with her National Science award...time flies....if you have an outstanding Committee report for the 2018 Annual report ....... ..please get it tot Toby.
