Derrick Shares the Need for Youth Safety

Secretary Derrick reminded members on Thursday that in the wake of the Royal Commission into the abuse of young people, Rotary Australia has decreed that all members of all Rotary clubs need to confirm their status as suitable people to work with youth. This means that each member has to complete a declaration form and ensure their working with children card is up to date. Details of exactly what needs to be done will be emailed to all members in the next week or so.
