Greetings Rotarians,

1. Last week our committee meetings gave the opportunity to discuss potential projects as per the new board structure of the Club. It also gave the newest members the opportunity to have input into club activities. It was obvious that keen discussion took place and I thank all the members for their participation. My thanks to you all. The Board will now discuss the projects and priorities

2. Remember that the opportunity is there for members to apply the Loddon Murray Community Leadership Awards. It is about developing leadership within the community. If you are interested, contact Bob or Thea for application.

3. We are catering and erecting marquees at Station Domain on Saturday 21 and 22 October for the Shire Spring Fling event with the Aero Club. Ian De Lacy is asking for volunteers, other than our Rotary commitments for that weekend.

4. It is important that we support the Men’s Health Breakfast at 7am on Thursday October 25th at the Highland Society. Partners are welcome and the Rotary Club is a co-sponsor with MDHS of the event.

5. District Governor Helen Trigg will be making her official visit to the Club also on Thursday 25th It is a partners night and representatives from Group 7 clubs with Rotarians from Ararat, Beaufort and Stawell visiting.

6. Pride of Workmanship Awards night is Tuesday October 30, where appropriate awards will be presented. The successful recipient of the Rotary Scholarship will be presented at the event
