17 members gathered together in Room 7 at Raglan Street on Thursday, January 21st for our first official "face to face" meeting since the Covid outbreak. The topic was technology, and specifically, how to to make the best use of the Rotary technology options available to members.
We explored the various components of the current club website (provided through the "Clubrunner" system), we looked at how to log into the site to change personal details and send emails to various groups of members in the club, we looked at how to log into the "My Rotary" website and check out our Rotary Foundation giving and various trends related to club statistics, and we looked at how to download and install the "Clubrunner" app on our Apple or Android mobile devices. For those who didn't get to the workshop, or those who want a refresher, a complete video of the process is available to watch on YouTube at https://youtu.be/2X4OoB4JLXk
Members are reminded that if you don't know your Clubrunner login details for our club site (including your password), email me and I can send them to you. To get into "My Rotary", you must first go to the "My Rotary" website and click the "register" button and provide them with your email address. They will then send you an email with details of how you can log in.
A "cheat sheet" with some of the main details covered last Thursday will also be emailed to all members in the next day or so.
