Tuesday the 15th of September saw President Thea Allan planting some of the Tilly Aston Roses at the Memorial in Carisbrook. All the local media were there including yours truly capturing the moment in time for all to see. These roses were donated by the Rotary Club of Maryborough and are aptly named the "Tilly Aston Rose". They have a beautiful colour and it is yet to be determined if they have a scent. A handful of people were there to see these important roses bedded in time for the upcoming rose season. They will be beautiful once they are in flower.
