Congratulations to PP Terry Allan who was recognized last week for a second Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire Pin.As members will know, the second sapphire on the PHF pin is a recognition that at this point, $US3,000 has been donated to the Rotary Foundation in Terry's name for the Foundation's significant humanitarian work in the world i.e. $1000 for the initial Paul Harris Fellow recognition, and an extra $1000 for each of the two sapphires. PP Thea initiated this recognition, and on behalf of Rotary we thank both of them for making the Foundation one of their major charities of choice - an option open to each one of us. Terry is pictured wearing his double sapphire with style!
