Last Wednesday, President Leigh presented Sarah Tatchell from Wattle City Meats with a Maryborough Rotary Pride of Workmanship award. John and Kim Bartlett, owners of the company wrote, "As a female working in a predominately male industry, Sarah has constantly shown that she is capable of anything asked of her.  From day one of her apprenticeship her commitment, initiative and willingness to try new things has seen her succeed at her trade.  The respect and kindness with which she treats both customers, staff and ourselves together with her excellent work ethic means she has also been able to take on managerial responsibilities and is one of our business’s greatest assets." Sarah is obviously a deserving winner, and Leigh congratulated her on behalf of the club and wished her well in her vocation. Thank you to Noel and Robyn Jennings of Country Trends for doing the engraving on the Award. The Advertiser was also in attendance, so we should see the presentation in the paper in coming days.
