Last Thursday, Rotarian Rob Bursill shared an engaging talk about this life and the best connection he made in his career. After working with his father in caring for Beehives, Rob worked for a while in Melbourne. Whilst there he became involved in Cricket and Football and even played for the Fitzroy seconds for a while. Due to his father's ill health, he returned to Maryborough and was fortunate enough to pick up a position with the late Jeff Mackay - father of PP and AG Martin. Rob said Jeff was a wonderful support and mentor in his life, and he learnt much about engineering and various other skills from his time with Jeff.
