Paul Harris Receipt in the form of Sapphires

Last Thursday night PDG Geoff James received a 3 Sapphire Paul Harris Recognition from President Thea. The recognition is virtually a receipt for funds given to the Rotary Foundation over the past year. For each one thousand dollars U.S. accumulated, the next stage of recognition becomes available - a process open to any Rotarian who wishes to make the Foundation a charity of choice. Of course, any club or individual Rotarian can give US$1,000 to the foundation and use those funds to recognize the hard work of any other individual - Rotarian or not.
